Tough Mochi

I am grateful for the wonderful projects that have kept my schedule full this year. But with my nose to the grindstone, I haven't been able to drive to the east side of the island. Q: What's better on the east side? A: Two Ladies Kitchen, where they make fresh mochi daily. Over in Kona, we have stuff that has been shipped from Taiwan and Japan, delicious but not the same as home-made. Think I might have to play hooky for a day trip to Hilo...
