Monsters

This is one of 3 images I did for the December/January issue of Educational Leadership magazine. The article talks about how Common Core standards can overwhelm and intimidate both students and teachers. I like the Art Director's proposal that the standards be portrayed as a monster which becomes less intimidating as the children become familiar with it.
