Spring Really is in the Air

Even here in Hawaii, there are signs of spring. More subtle, but still perceptible. The breeze has a slight coolness. In late morning, the air holds the promise of an afternoon rain shower. And because of these showers, there's a fresh bloom of green everywhere, a little lighter, a little brighter. As I type, the birds are celebrating the new season with a lot of chatter and song. In one day, two little birds, too eager to fly, ended up on the garage floor. Luckily Mike rescued each before the puppy and the cat could get to them.
