Several weeks ago, I injured my right hand in a surfing accident. The bruise covered the front of my hand and went all they way through to my palm. Luckily, nothing was broken. But for a long time, I could only use my pointer finger and thumb. Thank goodness, that's all I need to use a computer mouse, so work continued. But in my down time, I couldn't surf or play my cello. So I made these birds. It was fun to just cut away with little kid scissors, mix colors, paint and be messy just with one finger and a thumb.
