Mike's Monsters

Mike and the first copy of his new book Monsters Love Colors published by Harper Collins. I'm sharing this photo because Mike's smile really makes me laugh. It's the smile of the kid whose picture won the coloring contest, chosen by the teacher for the bulletin board or put up by mom on the refrigerator. Mike's illustrations reflect the goofy humor and joy that he shares and tortures the family with every day. I'm so glad that the kid's books give him an outlet for all the energy :).
